Package Designer
Prima Marketing Inc. is a wholesale craft, scrapbooking company based in Chino, California. We are an energetic rapidly growing team seeking a talented and inspired full-time Graphic Designer to work with our in house Design Team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute packaging design and production from start to finish.
· Create and deliver production-ready art for print
· Implement updates to brand materials to deliver consistent, on-brand, design principles across all channels.
· Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to strategize design effective solutions that meet business goals.
· Manage multiple projects in a timely fashion.
· Additional responsibilities may include craft product design.
Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related subject.
· 1-2 years experience in package design. In house experience is a plus.
· Attention to detail and strong craftsmanship is a must
· Knowledge of pre-press standards, color management and experience preparing design work for various production methods.
· Knowledge of packaging standards and requirements.
· Is a self-starter with strong organizational skills
· A portfolio that displays a strong sense of layout and typographic skills.
· Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. 3D experience is a plus.
· Ability to work well under pressure; effectively handle tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities.
· Ability to deliver projects on deadline.
· Understand the commercial reality of successful design. Keeping product merchandising in mind.
· Must be imaginative and creative.
