Gossamer Blue, founded in 2012 by designer Lori Gentile, currently offers two monthly subscription kits - a Main kit and a Life Pages kit for pocket scrapbookers - that feature its own designs of paper and other products mixed with a wide variety of industry brands. In addition, the company offers a selection of add-on kits every month.

The launch of the wholesale line has Gossamer Blue following in the footsteps of Studio Calico, who launched their own wholesale line in 2009 after starting as a kit club in 2007. Simple Stories came to market using a similar path, launching their product line wholesale in 2010 after it developed a significant following being sold via the (now-defunct) MemoryWorks direct sales network first. This path to market for a product smooths the way to acceptance among wholesale buyers, who are less reluctant to commit to a new wholesale product line that has a proven track record with consumers.

For their initial wholesale launch, Gossamer Blue is releasing three collections: Gramercy Road, On My Desk, and Get Happy. Gramercy Road and On My Desk have shipping dates of September in the announcement. No date is given for Get Happy.

Gramercy Road, designed by One Little Bird, is a fall collection in delicate pastels.

Paislee Press designed the "On My Desk" collection, an "everyday" line dominated by a riot of bright pink and orange shades mixed with pale blue.

Gossamer Blue's final line, Get Happy, is a holiday line by Allison Pennington.
