Cards | Thinking of You

We finish off today with team designer Yana Smakula. She brings us this hello that is full of sunshine (something we haven't seen all week here in the so-called "sunshine state") with help from some fabulous Pebbles products!

I fell in love with the Pebbles Basics Pads the moment I saw them, and patterns like this yellow chevron are the reason why! They are so quick and easy - just grab a sheet and fold it to make a card!

Yana paired the card pad with another Pebbles product - the Rainbow stickers from the new "Party with Amy Locurto" line. With sentiments like "thank you", "love you" and "thinking of you", the sticker set is perfect for cardmakers.

Another important element of this card is the"On the Edge" die set from Spellbinders designed by Becky Fleck, author of the Page Maps books, to go with her Scrapbook Page Maps 2book. The die set contains 9 different cut and embossed borders, and Yana layered two of them for fabulous effect on her card!

Designer: Yana Smakula

Yana Smakula is a newlywed from Ukraine (which is in southeastern Europe) with no kids but two black cats. She loves to travel across the world and meet new people, discover new cultures and just explore. So far together with her new husband she’s been to a few places in Europe (Poland, Check Republic and UK), Africa (Egypt, Tunisia and Israel), Asia (China and Sri Lanka) and USA. Their next dream destination is Madagascar, because they hear the nature there is simply breathtaking! Yana fell in love with the U.S. while living here (in Las Vegas, NV) as a high school foreign exchange student when she was a teen. She enjoys scrapbooking, mostly about her travels. Her other passion is cardmaking – she enjoys trying new products and techniques, experimenting and creating in different styles. She’s also very much into stamping (although she didn’t realize it until she took a close look at her cards and noticed almost all of them use stamps!). To learn more about Yana, visit her website
