Digital Trends | Black

There is a new color trending right now in the digi world - one that I didn't see coming. Black is the new HOT color. While it's always been a standard neutral found sparingly in many kits, black is now showing up everywhere as the primary color in a bunch of different kits. I'm going to keep my eye on the stores and see how far this trend goes but right now, let’s go take a look at some of the newest ones I’ve found!

The Lilypad

At The Lilypad, Lauren Grier has an entire collection using black as the base color. Her "Tomorrow" collection includes a full kit with 17 papers and over 60 elements, plus a separate set of journaling cards. Designer Digitals

At Designer Digitals, Katie Pertiet has also released an entire collection using black. Her collection is geared towards teens and young adults and includes graphic black and white patterns, photo frames, funky page pebbles and word strips. Oscraps

At Oscraps, both Paula Kesselring and Charlize Creations have released new collections using black as their primary color. Charlize Creations' kits include a full kit with papers, an alpha and 50 elements plus an add-on paper pack that you can purchase separately. Paula Kesselring's collection includes a set of 17 black and white papers and a set of 17 coordinating ribbons.
