Venture Capitalist Looking For Scrapbook Companies

Scrapbook Update received the following announcement today from a new venture capital company looking to make scrapbook acquisitions:

A private equity backed company is looking to purchase scrapbook companies that have current placement in the major accounts.  We are also interested in pursing other brands and/or very well-known, established designers and artists within the industry to launch products through this newly formed company.

The company executives have over 45 years of combined experience in the art & craft/scrapbooking market with direct experience selling to all of the mass merchants, craft chains, distributors and independents.

Interested parties should contact stuartmergers@gmail.com in confidence.

Scrapbook Update has spoken to one of the company's principals before publishing this item, but they wish to remain anonymous at this time. Please note the company's interest in working with designers and artists. If you have a marketable brand attached to your name, this company may be interested in working with you even if you don't have a company to sell them.
