Publisher & Editor: Nancy Nally
Nancy Nally is the owner of Nally Studios LLC., and the Publisher & Editor of Scrapbook Update and Craft Critique.
Nancy has been an avid scrapbooker for over a decade, and has worked and taught in scrapbook stores in Michigan and Florida. She founded Scrapbook Update (originally called Inside Scrapbooking) in 2004. In addition to her responsibilities at Scrapbook Update, Nancy is the “Modern Business” columnist for Creative Retailer magazine, and has also appeared in CLN Online. Her self-paced class called “Pro Press Releases” is currently available for enrollment at Big Picture Classes, and she has also given business seminars & provided consulting services at recent Craft & Hobby Association shows. Nancy can also be seen on two episodes of the second season of the PBS television series Scrapbook Soup, which debuted in July 2012.
Contributing Writer: Stephanie Vetne
Stephanie Vetne has been scrapbooking for over eight years. She’s a photographer and a former legal-writing professor and editor. Stephanie has been on the creative team at DesignerDigitals.com for the past five years and writes a monthly All About Me column for DesignerDigitals.com’s blog. She’s designed for many other scrapbooking companies, has contributed to several idea books, and her layouts have been published in nearly every major scrapbooking magazine. Stephanie writes a blog called Steph’s Stuff where you can read all about her daily adventures with her three kids, her grammar-obsessed husband, and her crazy golden retriever.

Tammy started scrapbooking in 1999, when a close friend introduced her to the concept. She’s been collecting memorabilia, taking photos and writing stories since childhood, so it was a natural evolution to capture these elements into one place. Tammy has also been active in the online scrapbooking community for many years. She loves sharing her own spin on the techniques and ideas she’s learned along the way. Tami Morrison has been a scrapbooking industry insider for more than a decade, with experience in retail, design, product development, education, and publishing. Ashley started scrapbooking 9 years ago after seeing “modern” scrapbooking in an online gallery for the first time. Finally! She had something to do with all of that pretty paper, ribbon scraps, trinkets, and other bits and bobs that had been collecting in a box. Her unique style combines excellent design, and balances bold trendiness with a delicate vintage sensibility. Annette started card making in 1997, when a neighbor invited her to a Stampin’ Up! party while she was living in Germany. She has since started a blog and taken part in many design teams. Annette has been published in Paper Crafts Magazine, Designed To Color, Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine and Papercraft Inspirations. Britt Bass has been papercrafting since the age of ten when she was given her first scrapbook for Christmas, 1995. Her love of cardmaking is only a few years old, but she has taken to the craft with passion and enthusiasm. She loves many different styles and is particularly partial to tools of every shape, size, and function. She currently serves as a design team member for DCWV, Hampton Art, Craftwork Cards (USA), and Heartstring Designs and her work can be seen in the pages of several issues of Designed to Color. Britt is a crafty social media junky with active, craft dedicated pages on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. Design Team: Carrie Walz
Carrie Walz is a stay at home mom of two wonderful children who are the inspiration for her scrapbooking. She is currently designing for Ruby Rock-It, We R Memory Keepers and Paper Issues. She has been scrapbooking for many years and loves seeing the world a different way from the art of scrapbooking and cardmaking, and loves seeing the joy in peoples’ eyes when they receive a handmade card or when they are turning the pages of her scrapbooks. Design Team: Corri Garza
Corri began paper crafting in 2009 when she purchased a Cricut at a Black Friday sale. She started following some blogs and immediately fell in love with card making. Recently, she added a Silhouette Cameo to her craft room and she loves working with die cuts to create cards, gift boxes and altered items. Corri lives just outside San Antonio, Texas with her husband and three kids. When she’s not in her craft room, she is watching her twins playing sports. Design Team: Deena Ziegler
Deena Ziegler has been a crafter for as long as she can remember. Her Mom, Grandma, and Aunts were always crafting up some project and they were happy to teach her everything they knew. Baking, sewing, needlework, you name it, they did it! As a young mom Deena became a professional crafter, and now she works at Sizzix as a Craft Designer, teaches card making classes, teaches online at My Creative Classroom, and owns and operates a small card kit business – and she blogs all about it. Deena enjoys finding ways to be creative in daily life by repurposing, giving handmade and creating with her daughters.
Design Team: Evgenia Petzer
Evgenia Petzer is from Russia. She describes South Africa, where she moved about 2 years ago, as “the most beautiful country that I have ever seen” where she can enjoy the sun almost every day. Evgenia has a 4 year old son, that is her inspiration. She started as a scrapbooker, but now mainly creates cards in her signature detailed, romantic style. Currently, Evgenia designs for Melissa Frances, Tattered Angels, Bo Bunny Designs, OUAS blog and a SOE kit club, and also works part time as a child & family photographer. Design Team: Sharon Callis
Sharon Callis lives in Ireland and has been a crafter for over twenty years. In 2011, Sharon was named ‘Cardmaker of the Year’ by Cardmaking and Papercraft/ Quick Cards made Easy’ Magazines in the UK. Sharon’s work has been featured in publications such as Creative Cardmaking, Papercraft Essential, Create and Craft TV, Cardmaking and Papercraft as well as on various craft companies Facebook pages and blogs. She currently designs for Xyron, gel-a-tins and Little Yellow Bicycle. In addition to her passion for papercrafts, Sharon also likes to do a wide variety of crafts: knit, sew, cross stitch, machine embroider, plastic canvas, costume design, woodcraft, dollshouse miniatures, sketching, home decor, model making and baking. Susie Cannon Moore is married to her soulmate Randall, and between them they have five grown children – four boys and one girl – and five wonderful grandchildren. They live in a small country town called Maypearl, Texas. Susie has been paper crafting all her life, but started scrapbooking seriously in 1998. She has been published in Paper Crafts and Just Steampunk, and also have been on HGTVʼ’s Crafterʼ’s Coast to Coast. Susie loves to scrapbook her family, and do mini books (mostly as gifts). Card making is also a passion she has embraced for years. As a computer nerd, she especially enjoys using digis. Terri Davenport has been paper crafting since 1995. She is currently a creative team member with Designer Digitals and Ta Da Creative Studios. Terri teaches digital scrapbooking classes locally at Owens Community College She has won several contests including Creating Keepsake’s Hall of Fame and Paper Crafts World Card Making Day contests. Terri lives in Toledo, OH with her husband, four sons and dog. Since even the dog is male, her blog is appropriately titled Outnumbered.
