Major Editorial Changes at Creating Keepsakes

Announced last night, via Creating Keepsakes Founding Editor Lisa Bearnson's blog, is the news that Creating Keepsakes Editor-In-Chief Tracy White has resigned her position and been replaced by Brian Tippetts, the former Art Director of Creating Keepsakes. Another change also being made as part of this editorial staff shuffle is the naming of Britney Mellen, formerly a Contributing Writer on the CK staff, as the magazine's Creative Editor. This title was previously held by Ali Edwards, but in a statement on the Two Peas In A Bucket message board Ali assured her anxious fans that nothing is changing in her position at Creating Keepsakes except her title. No word on the naming of a new Art Director for the publication has been announced.

On a personal note I have to say that I am sorry to see Tracy White leaving Creating Keepsakes. Tracy is a lovely lady and I am a fan of hers both professionally and personally. I had the pleasure of sharing breakfast with her at CHA in January and both enjoyed the experience and learned a lot from it. I think that CK will have a very difficult time replacing what she brought to their pages for their readers,  and I wish Tracy great success in her future endeavors.
