Nancy Nally

Nancy Nally is the owner of Nally Studios LLC., and the Publisher & Editor of Nally Studios (formerly Scrapbook Update), and Craft Critique.

Nancy has been an avid scrapbooker for nearly twenty years, and has worked and taught in scrapbook stores in Michigan and Florida. She founded Scrapbook Update (which is now Nally Studios) in 2004, and became owner/editor of Craft Critique in 2012.

In addition to her editorial responsibilities for Nally Studios, Nancy’s editorial work appears in a variety of other industry publications. She served as the “Modern Business” columnist for Northridge Publishing’s Creative Retailer magazine for several years, before becoming the magazine’s editor from 2013 until its closure in 2014. She has also appeared in CLN Online, CHA Craft Industry Today, and Craft Industry Alliance Journal, as well as publications outside the crafts industry. 

Nancy’s self-paced class called “Pro Press Releases”  was previously available at Big Picture Classes, and she has also given business seminars at many Craft & Hobby Association trade shows as well as doing consulting for private companies about the scrapbook industry’s trends and business climate.

From 2011 until 2012, Nancy talked scrapbooking to an internet audience every week as the founding co-host of the Paperclipping Roundtable podcast. Nancy can also be seen on five episodes of the PBS television series Scrapbook Soup which aired during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

Nancy undertakes freelance work for a variety of scrapbook industry companies. She was the Cricut Creativity Center manager at 2015 Scrapbook Expo shows for Provo Craft, and has previously managed social media for a variety of craft industry companies including Buttons Galore & More, Needleart World, and Kit xChange.
