Simple Stories is a one of a kind designer and manufacturer in the stationery and scrapbooking industry with a fun, creative work atmosphere.  ! Simple Stories has a very fun, creative work atmosphere.   We are currently seeking a full time marketing assistant in our Ogden, Utah office to help develop and grow the Simple Stories brands. If you love working with people in a fun environment and enjoy being creative, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

·       Design projects for Retailer Class Kit program and create step-by-step instructions

·       Design additional projects on an as needed basis for tradeshows, packaging, ads, etc.

·       Proof product and packaging for artwork, spelling, barcodes, product numbers, etc.

·       Assist with new product packaging copy and design

·       Help support creative team with communication, product shipping and other needs

·       Help maintain presence on various social media outlets

·       Assist consumers with general questions and any product quality issues

·       Attend trade shows and other related events

·       Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in related field or three to five years’ experience.

Skill Requirements:

·       Proven experience designing scrapbook and paper crafting projects and writing instructions (samples will be required)

·       Excellent organizational, phone, verbal and written communication skills

·       Team oriented, works well with others

·       Energetic, a hard worker, dependable and responsible.

·       A desire to learn new skills.

·       Basic computer, email and 10 key skills along with skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

·       Experience and/or knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator a plus

·       Experience with QuickBooks a plus

·       Some travel is required.

Reports to the Marketing Director.

Salary: Hourly, based on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
