I usually browse Pinterest in the evenings and I almost always come away with more pins than I can count that I want to base a layout (and this article) on. But this week, inspiration seemed to fail me. And when it came time to write this article, I didn’t have any pins that I really wanted to use. So I turned my process around and started with a photo that I wanted to use. It’s a difficult photo to scrapbook because it has a busy background and is a somewhat blurry cell phone photo. I started searching Pinterest based on colors in my photo – browns and creams. And when I saw this scarf below, I immediately had an idea.
Pinterest Inspiration | Poker Ad
While looking through Pinterest earlier this week, I clicked on the image below because I thought it was a Christmas-related image. To my pleasant surprise, it was an ad for poker night at a cafe. I love its simplicity and decided to use the ad’s layout design for a scrapbooking layout.
Pinterest Inspiration | Coffee maker
Scrapbooking inspiration can be found literally anywhere. I stumbled across this image on Pinterest and had no idea what it was. But I was intrigued by the shape and clicked on the image. Can you believe this is a coffee maker? It is just too cool. I had to use the design for a layout.
Pinterest Inspiration | Black + Red
Color seems to be inspiring me a lot lately and I’m loving red with dark, classic colors. Not only did I fall in love with the product for this week’s inspiration photo but I also fell in love with the color combination.
Pinterest Inspiration | Navy + Red
Navy blue is one of the hot color trends for this fall. And I’m totally in love with this trend. Everywhere I look, I see navy paired with white, red or yellow. So it should come as no surprise that I fell in love with this dress I found on Pinterest. And it is the perfect inspiration for a scrapbook layout.
