Leadership. Spellbinders announced on June 11th that, effective immediately, co-founder Stacey Caron is “stepping away from all day-to-day business activities within the company” but “will continue to be an important creative driver” for the brand. No reason was given for the change at the company.
Caron’s husband and company co-founder, Jeffrey Caron, left his own previous role as CEO of the company in 2013 when an outside investment firm was brought in following the company’s disastrous patent infringement lawsuit against QuicKutz.
