Cards are a great chance to use those paper scraps that you’ve been saving, or those really old papers that you’ve been hoarding! Here, designer Deena Ziegler used a black patterned paper from scrapbooking company Scenic Route, which closed several years ago, along with several other papers that she pulled from her stash.
Scraps are also great for making small die cuts that are perfectly sized for cards. Some card makers even cut their scraps into die cut shapes and save them that way, ready to use.
Using scraps and stash can be a great way to find inspiration – dig through your papers and pull out different random things you find and you might be surprised how you make them work together!
