Rainbow color schemes are hot, text design elements are hot, and washi tape is hot. And designer Terri Davenport managed to get them all in to one card!

The main part of this card is digital, which allowed Terri to create a special effect. To get the effect of the text sentiment in between the stripes in the pattern, Terri selected a digital patterned paper, and then added the text into the pattern digitally before printing it and adhering it to the card.

This simple, clean and bright card is a great design to have on hand because it is great for a lot of uses – kids and young people, men, teachers, and so many other people would just love this card!

Single Mama Status by Nzingha

The off-center photo drew me into Ann’s layout right away but there are so many details in this layout that I love. She used a neutral chevron-patterned paper as the base for her layout and the subtle pattern is such a nice change from plain cardstock. She used very soft colors in the small pieces of patterned paper she used as accents and I love the way her journaling flows directly under her photos and her title under that. The stitching is the perfect final touch.
