When few days ago I first was Kandis Smith’s baby cards on Echo Park blog I was instantly inspired to create something! I loved the negative space backed with pattern paper on her cards and I wanted to create a similar look. Continue Reading →

Hi All… Card Annex Designer Deena Ziegler here to bring you some card inspiration today.
This week I got a couple uninterrupted hours to get creative in my craft room. I set out to create one “friendship” card for my post today, but, that turned in to a run away session of cutting, gluing and making a huge mess. I was in love with the super cute – just my style – papers from Bella Blvd that were sent to me last week. I love when all the creative planets align and designing projects I love becomes so easy!
While the Bella Blvd “Love and Marriage” line was meant to be for weddings, I think it’s also well suited for all girly occasions.

Do you need some quick thank you cards? Well, here is all that you need:
- Some washi tape
- Card bases for 3 1/2 x 4 7/8 cards
- Pieces of 4×5 coordinating card stock
- White card stock pieces measuring approximately 4×5 ea
- A sentiment stamp
- Sequins Continue Reading →
Card Annex designer Annette Allen shows us today what you can do with just a 6×6 paper pad and a Silhouette machine!

Annette even used the interior spaces from the heart cut-outs in the various elements as a decorative element in the design. By doing this, the cut file basically carried the entire design!
