Anything with the name Tim Holtz attached to it is sure to create buzz on the CHA show floor, and the Stamp 2 Cut system for the Sizzix eclips is a perfect example of that phenomenon. The Stamp 2 Cut system consists of a set of cartridges and clear overlays for the Sizzix eclips digital cutting system that gives stampers the ability to create very detailed die cuts of images that are created using Tim Holtz’s popular Stamper’s Anonymous stamps.
Tammy Tutterow demonstrated the Stamp 2 Cut system for me in this exclusive Scrapbook Update video: [Read more...]
Authentique introduced four new lines at the CHA Winter 2012 show: Genuine, Loyal, Delightful, and Gathering. It was Genuine that most caught my eye as an example of a new trend that we saw emerge at this show – denim!
Little hints of denim are popping up here and there in this season’s releases (the denim buttons in Indigo Bleu by Pink Paislee are another great example), and with the way trends build in this industry I expect that we’ll be seeing a lot more of it at the 2012 summer show.
Simple Scrapbooks expanded its line of easy memory-keeping products at CHA Winter 2012 with the introduction of 6″ x 8″ Mix and Match albums.
This smaller format album and matching page protectors are compatible with Simple Stories’ existing line of cut-out elements (full 12×12 sheets will, of course, need to be trimmed down to work), and the company has also introduced a new line of 6×8 pages made specifically for the new new albums.
There are also new pocket pages in a variety of sizes and styles from 12×12 to 6×8 to smaller sizes designed to fit in Simple Stories pocket pages.
These petite albums are perfect for telling smaller stories and simplifying the process of creating mini albums.
Core’dinations has heard the pleas of die-cutters everywhere and answered with their new Cut and Emboss line of pre-cut cardstock.
These new mini cardstock pads are sized perfectly for embossing folders and border die cuts and measure 5.5″ x 4.25″ and 12″ x 2.25″ respectively.
