CHA Mega Show 2015 | Scrapbook Storage & Organization Products

Scrapbook storage is always a hot topic for papercrafters, and several new options were on display at the CHA Mega Show 2015 that will be showing up on store shelves soon.

Deflecto, better known for office supplies than for craft supplies, was offering some modular pull down bins with some nice features not seen in similar bins, like a slot to hold a label for the bin's contents.

Deflecto was also offering circular storage units with pie slice shaped bins that can be stacked.

The company also has tubular storage that will make washi fans take notice, and many of their items come in decor colors instead of functional white.

We R Memory Keepers had a new entry for the rolling tote market (which hasn't seen a lot of new product action lately), in bright stylish colors.

A cupholder that hangs off of the handle is available as an accessory to the new tote.

Stacking paper trays and Ikea Expedit (aka the Kallax now) units are both very popular with papercrafters. We R Memory Keepers has an upcoming product that will make a lot of people happy - paper trays that fit inside the Ikea shelving units! The units also stack flat for shipping or storage - a boon for stores.

Everything Mary was also at the Mega Show with a few new designs of totes and a new print pattern for their tote line. To see the details, visit YouTube to view a show report from Scrapbook.com.

There was a time in past years that the show floor was flooded with organization options but consumers are increasingly turning to DIY options for their organization (such as decorative Mason Jars) or purchasing organizers from non-craft retailers. So while organization is a hot topic in the industry (and on Pinterest), the market for specialty organization products has cooled.
