The sneak peeks are starting to trickle out (due to the way the holidays occur this year, don’t expect the avalanche until probably the week of January 6th). Despite the fact that relatively few are out yet, there are still some really great ones worth putting on your wish list already!
Amy Tangerine has knocked it out of the park – AGAIN – with her new “Plus One” collection. It coordinates with her previous collections, continuing the same palette and style while still somehow looking fresh. A plethora of small patterns makes this perhaps the most usable of all the Amy Tangerine collections to date.
Several items stand out from the collection. These flair badges are particularly appealing, very versatile and so workable for a huge amount of applications: Each show, Amy introduces some item that is a new or unusual accessory. This time it is a set of dies that coordinate with the collection:
Cosmo Cricket is building on the popularity of their Show Topper jar lids by releasing a new version with slots to create a ribbon organizer. With the current fad for Mason jars in organizing and decorating crafts, this will definitely attract some fans!
Studio Calico has a very new take on a travel collection, called Wanderlust. With watercolor maps and icons like boats and mountains, it is a fresh look at the traditional way that these collections are done.
Becky Higgins has a huge new line of accessories for Project Life that are sure to generate a lot of buzz – and sales. These photo overlays were popular when they appeared on HSN, and will likely be popular as a CHA release as well.
In addition to the accessories there are also a few new core kits for Project Life. The Azure edition by Amber LaBau fills a bit of a gap in the Project Life system, providing an option for fans of vintage style, where the system is mostly dominated by a more graphic aesthetic.
I’ve long been a fan of Pebbles’ embellishments. Their new Garden Party collection has validated my affection once again by being loaded with beautiful spring embellishments like floral Thickers and layered butterflies.
Maggie Holmes has created another collection for Crate Paper, called Styleboard, that coordinates with her previous collections. A mixture of familiar elements and new elements, the collection is perfect for spring and will make Maggie Holmes’ fans very happy.
