Design Team Call | AccuCut 8/31

AccuCut is looking for 8-10 designers to help showcase two new lines of dies that will be featured on a brand-new website. You’ve asked for it and it will soon be a reality — our new dies will be compatible in leading consumer die-cutting machines!

Details

We are looking for US-based designers for a four-month design term (September – December 2013). We will be accepting applications until Aug. 31, 2013 and the team will be announced by Sept. 4.

Your Responsibilities

• Create 4-6 projects per month over a four-month timeframe

• Weekly dedicated post featuring project(s) created with supplied products (Oct-Dec)

• Be able to take high-quality images of your work and to submit jpg files

• Monthly posting on the new blog

• Participation in any blog hops or challenges

Art Anthology is looking for 3-4 video/ustream team members.
We’re looking for crafters with great enthusiasm who LOVE what they do and put pride into their crafting! We’re looking for a broad range of styles from scrapbooking to mixed media and beyond! All styles and skill levels are welcome AND encouraged to apply!

What we are wanting:

  • Some knowledge of doing videos and/or live feed classes
  • Must love to share their projects on an active blog and would share projects, releases and events on your blog, online galleries and social media.
  • A crafter who is dedicated and can commit to keeping a schedule by turning projects in on time, is flexible and can openly communicate with the DT Coordinator as well as fully committing to the 6 month term. Continue Reading →

Surprise! It’s time to select our 2014 Design Team. All applications must be received on or before September 2nd.

We are switching it up a bit this time by asking our designers to specialize in certain areas. See the complete contributor list under “Design Team Specialties”. Here’s everything you need to know…

SHOULD YOU APPLY?
1. Applicants will be accepted from the Continental US and Canada. Canadian applicants are eligible for all specialities except Club Kits.
2. Selected design team members will be sent SEI products to create projects with, which will be featured on our blog.
3. We encourage all crafters: 3D projects makers, scrap-bookers, card-makers, ANY creative individual to apply. Show us your best work.
4. We expect a 1 year commitment.

CHA Summer 2013 | Hot Pick: Project Life

So here, in no particular order, is the next hot pick for CHA Summer 2013 (aka Create-n-Connect)…

Project Life was, admittedly, something of an enigma in Las Vegas. While it seemed to have lost some of the rock star shine of its debut at the previous show, Project Life was still an omnipresent force on the show floor, driving sales not only for its own company but for many others as well.

Despite the lighter crowds in the company’s booth this time around, this release is actually quite a positive and critical step for the company for several reasons.

Compared to Anaheim in January, where founder Becky Higgins debuted the company with a huge set of new core kits, there was relatively few new core kits on display. There was one aimed at the genealogy market called Heritage, along with a new addition to their line of licenses from well-known designers.
