Enjoy the Ride

Card Annex designer Annette Allen shows us today what you can do with just a 6×6 paper pad and a Silhouette machine!

Annette let her Cameo do all the work on this card, using a cut file called “4×6 Enjoy the Ride Heart Bike” by Loni Stevens that included both the title text and the large graphic for only $.99. Annette even used the interior spaces from the heart cut-outs in the various elements as a decorative element in the design. By doing this, the cut file basically carried the entire design!

The patterned paper is Crate Paper’s Fourteen collection. Fourteen was designed and marketed as a Valentine’s Day collection but you’d never know that from this card!

Another important element in the design is the washi tape. This fabulous stripe from Freckled Fawn is very trendy and oh-so-fun!

Supplies | Cardstock: Neenah (White). Electronic Die Cutting Machine: Silhouette Cameo. Digital Cutting File: Silhouette (4×6 Enjoy the Ride Heart Bike). Patterned Paper: Crate Paper (Fourteen 6×6 paper pad). Embellishments: Freckled Fawn Washi Tape (Stripe & Polka – Red Blue Green), May Arts (Burlap String), Epiphany Crafts (Shape Studio Bubble Caps).  Adhesive: American Crafts (Foam adhesives), Tombow (Multi Liquid Glue).

Now that is a super cute card! Love this design and how Annette used the insides of the hearts. I just made birthday invitations to my 1 yr. and 4 yr old granddaughters’ combined birthday party with my Cameo. Amazing what you can do with an electronic cutter!!
