Get Well Soon by Susie Moore

Card Annex designer Susie Moore is back again today with another fabulous example of her Copic coloring skills on this fun get well card! The hair of her fairy absolutely glows in the sunlight. It’s hard to believe that she’s hand colored and not real!

The asymmetric piece of patterned paper on the bottom of this card pushes the eye to the left, the direction that the fairy is traveling, enhancing the visual effect that she is moving that direction. It seems to “push” her.

If the lovely My Mind’s Eye papers on this card have inspired you, be sure to come back tomorrow when we start our My Mind’s Eye feature week, which will show off cards by our designing highlighting all of their latest CHA Winter 2013 releases!

Supplies | Patterned Paper: My Mind’s Eye (Lost & Found – Blush). Stamp: Nellie Snellen. Markers: Copic. Dies: Spellbinders, MFT Stamps (border). Bling: unknown.

Susie Cannon Moore is married to her soulmate Randall, and between them they have five grown children – four boys and one girl – and five wonderful grandchildren. They live in a small country town called Maypearl, Texas. Susie has been paper crafting all her life, but started scrapbooking seriously in 1998. She  has been published in Paper Crafts and Just Steampunk, and also have been on HGTVʼ’s Crafterʼ’s Coast to Coast. Susie loves to scrapbook her family, and do mini books (mostly as gifts). Card making is also a passion she has embraced for years. As a computer nerd, she especially enjoys using digis. In May of 2011, Susie, who has been a dieaholic from the early Sizzix days, started a website devoted to crafting with dies. You can visit her website at The Dies Have It.
