Hey There

card annex 02-27

Today, designer Susie Moore shows us how a scrap of paper with a scene on it can become the foundation for a beautiful card!

The brown paper with the floral scene on it is from Prima’s “Engraver” collection. It’s pretty on its own, but lacks the punch to carry an entire card design. Susie stepped it up by adding some flower embellishments from the same Prima collection, to make the design 3D.

The white space in the scenic designed paper allows for the use of a large title block. To go along with the understated elegance of the paper design, a simple banner with a white logo and text is all that is needed. The contrast of the white against the black background really puts focus on the sentiment text.

Supplies | Patterned Paper: Prima (The Engraver Collection). Stamps: Paper Smooches (Sentiment Sampler), American Crafts (Amy Tangerine Aspire). Die: MFT Stamps (Fishtail Banners). Embossing Powder: WOW! (Opaque Bright White). Flowers: Prima (The Engraver Collection).
