Happy Mail

Happy Mail

What a beautiful example of Copic coloring we have today from designer Annette Allen in this card meant for a hello through the mail!

Annette used un-themed papers from a Halloween paper pack by October Afternoon to border her card with bright pattern. It’s a great way to use up leftovers when the holiday is over!
Happy Mail

The foam adhesive behind the cut out figure creates depth, making it seem that the character is standing in front of the mailbox. Another nice detail is the stitching detail that is part of the background die and the banner die by Lil’Inker Designs. The stitching makes it seem that the elements are more grounded.

Supplies | Cardstock: Neenah (White). Patterned Paper: October Afternoon (Witch Hazel 8×8 paper pad). Stamps: Tiddly Inks (Happy Mail Clear Stamp Set 3×4). Ink: Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo Black). Markers: Copic Sketch (E35, E37, E39, Y15, Y17, YR02, YR04, YR07, E74, E77, R81, E00, E000, E0000, R24, W3, W5 AND C0). Dies: Lil’Inker Designs (Stitched Mats Squares, Stitched Sentiment Flag). Adhesive: Scotch (ATG), American Crafts (foam).

Designer: Annette Allen
