Digital Trend | Project Life Journaling Cards

The digi stores are absolutely bursting with new Project Life journaling cards in both 3×4 and 4×6 sizes. Let’s go take a look at some of the newest ones I’ve found! They are so numerous I will probably be back with even more in the next week or so.

Designer Digitals

At Designer Digitals, Katie Pertiet, Ali Edwards and Cathy Zielske all have brand-new journal cards. Katie’s two sets include a fun and bright set of eight travel-themed cards and a gorgeous krafty set of weekly journalers. A Monster of a Valentine’s Wish!

Here’s a valentine that your favorite little boy might appreciate more than the traditional pink hearts and lace. It’s full of monster love!

Would you like to make your own valentine’s monster? It’s easier than it looks – here’s how:

1. Cut grasshopper cardstock to 4×9.

2. Create a trifold card with folds at the 2.5 and 6.5 inch marks. Adhere the edges of the bottom fold to the side of the card to create a pocket.

3. Print sentiment on white paper. Add patterned paper and sentiment to pocket.

4.  Punch circles of differing sizes from raven and white cardstock to create eyes. Hand cut ears from patterned paper and teeth from white cardstock. (Don’t worry about matching. Imperfections will only add to the monster’s charm.

5. Adhere pieces to card to create the face.

When you are done, fill the pocket with candy, gum, or a gift card.

This monster isn’t just for Valentine’s Day! The sentiment could also be changed to make it appropriate for a birthday or lots of other uses.

Supplies | Cardstock: Coredinations (Grasshopper), Bazzill Basics (Raven) and Papertrey Ink (white). Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd (Birthday Boy collection). Circle punches (Fiskars).
