This card has such an explosion of fun pattern on it, but in small pieces and from a coordinated collection, the effect is bright and happy instead of chaotic. The ribbon “bundles” the pattern pieces together and forces their visual movement to be vertical.
The round buttons soften the hard lines of the paper strips, and lead the eye across the card and up to the sentiment as well.
Using the white Signo Uni-ball gel pen to add stitching detail to the card’s elements is simple, and yet it is the all-important detail that pulls the card together and finishes it.
