Art Anthology Purchases Basically Bare

Art Anthology has announced that they have purchased Basically Bare from founders Angela Pruitt and Carol Jackson.

Basically Bare, known for their chipboard and cardboard albums and die cuts, was founded in 2010 and was based in Georgia. Operations are being moved to Huntington Beach, CA as part of the sale. Pruitt will remain with the company as Basically Bare’s design specialist after the move.

Art Anthology is a newly-formed boutique producer of paints and mists that debuted in September. The company is owned by former Tattered Angels educator Stayce DeWid, and Denny Ruffner, also formerly of Tattered Angels. In addition to their new acquisition, the company is also sponsoring a cruise in April.

The recently joined companies will be exhibiting together at CHA Winter 2013 this month.
