Welcome to Gallery Highlights for this week! This week’s finds include designs with an assortment of photos – from 1 single, enlarged photo to a photo collage using 25 photos. Let’s go take a look at them and I hope you like them all as much as I do. Don’t forget – you can click on the links to visit the layouts in their galleries and view supply lists, leave a comment for the designer, or view the designer’s other work.
Finally by Jenniferlala
Jennifer’s layout is stunning in its simplicity. It is a single, enlarged photo that she embellished with banners and a tag at the top. She added a single twine bow and tiny brads to complement the title and journaling. Gorgeous!
Not Jolly by jacaruth910
How could this grumpy face not make you smile? Joanne’s layout design for this December Daily page highlights that funny face perfectly! She used a fairly graphic design but then added some sparkle and shine to the title and it makes this grumpy, adorable cat photo just pop out of the gallery.
First Snowfall by naomiatkins
Naomi’s gorgeous photos are even more stunning with this layout design highlighting them. She used a text-patterned paper as her background and added in very soft snowflake and doily embellishments to complement the photos. This is a themed layout done perfectly!
Elf on the Shelf by MichelleLanning
How much fun is Michelle’s layout? She created a photo collage of 25 photos she took last year with her elf friend and then tied them all up with a big bow made out of seasonally-colored twine. I love everything about this layout!
Margaritaville by Lisa Dorsey
Lisa’s layout feels like such a breath of fresh air during this cold, wintery weather that is descending upon many of us. The light blue background brings in some of the colors from the photos and she added even more bright colors by adding patterned banners under the photo. Margaritaville sounds about perfect to me right now!
And there you have them - our gallery highlights! I love all of these and I really do wish we had time and space to feature more of the amazing designs out there. Thanks so much to all of the designers who shared their work with us this week. What were your favorite gallery layouts last week?
