To create the card’s background, Chari framed a piece of patterned paper with a kraft background. To “anchor” the patterned paper, Chari outlined it with a frame of hand drawn lines.
Chari stamped her shapes on patterned paper, which is a really hot trend right now. It’s also a great way to use your scraps! She turned her stamped images into die cuts by cutting them out following the shape of the stamp’s outline.
To add more dimension to the shapes, Chari embellished them with Stickles. The glitter glue adds both texture, and visual accent to the pieces.
An architect by day, and a crafter by night, Chari lives in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC with her husband Matt and their little dog Penny (aka Little Miss Littleness). She likes bright and happy designs best, and is a member of the Lawn Fawn design team. To learn more about Chari, visit her blog, MossyMade.
