Pinterest Inspiration | Sheet Set

Pinterest never fails to inspire me. I tend to browse through it every evening before bed when the house is quiet and this week, I came across this set of sheets that I absolutely love. And guess what? They’re the perfect inspiration for a layout.

This sheet set is from Anthropologie and is called the Sombrero Sheet Set. The sheets are a crisp white with brightly-colored tassels that create a playful and bouncy border on the sheets and the pillowcases. This is a great inspiration for a clean and simple layout design.

This layout could not have been easier to design. I wanted to stay true to the inspiration photo so I used white cardstock as my background. After placing my photos on the cardstock, I looked for multi-colored embellishments to mimic the tassels on the sheet set. I found these new bead scatterings by Katie Pertiet and they’re perfect for this project. I placed them under the photo, added my journaling and a title and that was it. It’s super-easy and very clean and simple – my favorite type of design.

I love spending time on Pinterest and I always find something to inspire me – even if it’s as simple as this set of sheets. I hope that you are inspired by this design as I was. Let me know where you find inspiration and maybe I’ll use it in a future column. You can also follow my Pinterest boards here.
