To kick the week off this week with Noteworthy, we’ve got some big announcements from some industry favorites, and some design team news, too!
Ranger is having their annual warehouse sale again! The sale is this Saturday, September 15th, 2012, from 9am-2pm at Ranger’s Tinton, NJ headquarters. Discontinued or imperfect products will be sold at prices up to 75% off of wholesale pricing. Sales will be made by cash or check only, no credit card sales. For more information and directions to the sale, see Ranger’s 2012 warehouse sale announcement.
Heidi Swapp has a new digital shop! She’s selling her past release paper lines, and digital elements (including SVG cutting files) that coordinate with her products.
To celebrate the opening of the new digital store at HeidiSwapp.com, all products are 25% off through Friday, Sept. 14th if you use coupon code HEIDI.
Click Creative Group, the company behind DesignerDigitals.com, has announced a new online venture called Vintage Image Source. The new site sells royalty-free vintage clip art in three different available resolutions: 150dpi, 300dpi, and 600dpi. Since the images are royalty-free and in the public domain, the Vintage Image Source clip art library is the perfect resource for designers with a vintage style. They can be used for stationary, fabric, and a variety of other surfaces.
If you are looking for design work to expand your resume, there’s a lot of design team calls out right now from manufacturers.
Some companies’ design team calls are already complete and they have announced their new teams:
October Afternoon’s design team call was completed awhile ago, but they just announced last week two new names for their team: Mou Saha and Michelle Wooderson.
