Annabelle’s beautiful layout celebrates summer vacation beautifully. She made the stencil numbers and backed them with strips of paper for a very creative and colorful title. She used the same colors as a border and used bright accents to balance the entire layout.
You are my happy place by Sarah Webb
Sarah’s card has such a sweet sentiment and immediately caught my eye. She used a wonderful collection of different patterned papers on a neutral base and then added soft butterflies above and below the sentiment. I also love the way she used baker’s twine as a bow and stapled the ends down. That is a great idea!
Non-stop sledding by sillypea
I love seeing winter photos during the summer and Jennifer has done a great job with this two-page layout. She layered 13 photos over both pages and then added strips of vellum, patterned paper and sparkly snowflakes. She topped it all off with confetti to mimic falling snow and it’s a fabulous touch!
August Take Twelve by Aly D
Aly is making a Twelve on Twelve album – a fun challenge that involves taking 12 photos on the 12th of every month. This is her layout for August. She created a collage of her 12 photos in Picasa and used that as the base for the right side of this two-page spread. She added some neutral embellishments on top of the photos and then brought in those same colors on the left side which includes her title and journaling. This is a great way to make a two-page spread and allow both the photos and the journaling to shine.
Frescos in Lucerne by Whosthischick
Look at the colors in this next layout! The designer did a fantastic job of highlighting these gorgeous photos by matching the colors in her paper choices to the colors in the photos. It adds such sophistication to this two-page spread and truly allows the architecture in the photos to shine.
Special Relationship by grandma lynnie
Lynn’s layout highlights a wonderful relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. Using a single, enlarged photo as the centerpiece, she layered digital stamps on both edges of the photo and added journaling and another stamp on the bottom of the photo. This is a gorgeous example of how to say a lot very simply. What a beautiful layout!
