Hexagons are showing up all over the web right now – they are some of the trendiest shapes of the summer. Let’s go take a look at just a few of the digital hexagon-shaped products that I’ve seen lately.
Oscraps
Oscraps has two products that focus almost exclusively on the hexagon right now. The first is a set of hexagon tabs from Paislee Press with writing prompts and word art. The second is a 12 x 12 template by Anna Aspnes – the hexagon shapes extend behind the paper strip and title, allowing you to fill the shapes with just images or a combination of images and papers.

The Lilypad
At The Lilypad, Amy Martin has a collection entitled “Shaped Up,” and her newest additions are two sets of four templates featuring layered hexagons. Little Butterfly Wings and Amy Wolff have also collaborated on a new kit named “Strike a Pose” that includes a beautiful hexagon alphabet on kraft paper.

The Digichick
At The Digicheck, Quirky Twerp has released two sets of stitches in hexagon shapes. The first is a set of neutral stitched hexagons in six colors and two sizes, called Hexagon Stitches Natural. The second set, called Hexagon Stitches Vivid, includes stitched hexagons in six bright colors and two sizes. Both sets include clipping layers, grouped sets, and single images. [Editor's Note: This trend pick is appearing without the usual photos because The Digichick is currently experiencing server issues and so we were unable to retrieve the images to include them in the article. Hopefully they will be back up soon so you can view the designs on their site using the links above. -- Nancy]
And there you are – there are so many fun and creative hexagon products available right now in the digital world. I can’t wait to see layouts made with these in all the galleries!

Not a trend I am jumping on–lol They are cute but just not my go to shape!
I have never ever used a hexagon shape but after seeing some sketches here,I may have to try them on a layout! The only problem is that I will have to find some hexagon papers and shapes! Thanks for the article. It is a good one!
There are a couple of FREE hexagon stamp designs from the Aug downloads on the Teresa Collins Stampmaker website.

I love the hexagon trend and have been perplexed that none of the punch companies have released a hexagon punch.
