Gallery Highlights | 8.30.2012

Welcome to the latest edition of Gallery Highlights!

This week’s finds include some gorgeous layouts and cards with some great technique-driven projects. I hope you like them all as much as I do. Let’s go take a look! Don’t forget – You can click on the links to visit the layouts in their galleries and view supply lists, leave a comment for the designer, or view the designer’s other work.

I Got This! by jesshunt

Jess’s layout is just full of color and fun embellishments and she still managed to fit nine photos on the page. I love the way she placed her photos all the way to the edges of the page on all four sides – that full bleed technique created a lot of space for more photos, as well as a quite a bit of journaling. To complement the bright photos, she added colorful buttons, butterflies and other embellishments all over the page. What a great multi-photo page!

Pinterest Inspiration | Fashion Ad

While I was looking through Pinterest last week, I came across this photo below. It’s a layout put together from several fashion ads that recently appeared in Vogue magazine. While the fashions themselves aren’t exactly suited to my daily life, the layout design certainly is, and I made a layout based on the design.

Special 6×6 My Mind’s Eye Paper Pads At Michael’s

My Mind’s Eye is getting a lot of mileage out of some of their old collections with the help of Michael’s Stores!

Melissa Stinson wrote last week about finding the 2011 collection Stella and Rose being produced under Michael’s Recollections brand as a 12×12 paper pad. On my own trip to Michael’s on Friday, I didn’t find the Stella and Rose pad, but I found something else from My Mind’s Eye:
