Giveaway | Amy Tangerine Daybooks

It’s time to give away more goodies on Scrapbook Update!

The winner of last week’s giveaway of the Tim Holtz Spring Seasonal Ink Pads is Laura Church:

Ooo thanks for the chance to win. I have every colour of TH Inks so I definitely need these!

This week’s giveaway sponsored by Scrapbook Update is another big trend from another big industry name: Amy Tan’s signature line from American Crafts called Amy Tangerine. And the big trend I’m talking about is mini books!

I’ve got  two Amy Tangerine mini books to share with Scrapbook Update’s readers…these are duplicates of ones that I myself have and am planning future projects with. One of them is going to be a “things you say” album about my daughter, since she’s starting to talk more lately – and with that has come much hilarity. I have a couple ideas I’m still bouncing around for the second one.

Mini-books in general are very trendy right now but it’s especially hot to make them out of a variety of different shapes and designs of papers. Several companies have built popular binding tools to cater to this trend, but for those not into DIY-ing a project like that (or who don’t use them often enough to invest in a tool to facilitate the binding), the Amy Tangerine line of books is a beautifully designed option.

So, let’s check out the two that I’m giving away this week!

Giveaway #1: Amy Tangerine “I Heart You” Daybook

Giveaway #2: Amy Tangerine Montage Daybook

I hope you enjoy these as much as I am!

How To Enter: All you have to do to have a chance to be one of the lucky winners is leave a comment on this entry before 11:59PM CDT on Sunday night, June 3rd. Make sure you include your email address in the line reserved for it on the comment form (for your own protection, don’t put it in the text of the comment, where it will be visible to the public – just in the line labeled “email” in the form where only Scrapbook Update staff can see it). We will need it to notify you if you are a winner. Winners will be drawn by random drawing from all eligible entries. One entry per person.

What a thoughtful item to share with one of us. My husband has been working 1,200 miles away since February and I will be joining him for the summer in a few weeks. This would be great for capturing our weekend adventures there.
    Thanks for the possibility.

What a great place to keep “Autumnisms.” We need to keep the stories 4-uear-old Autumn tells, like explaining to her mom that she needs to sleep with her because “space aliens come down and take moms who sleep by themselves.”

Nancy, you should add mind reader to your list of accolades. I just this very week started an Amy Tan Daybook! (can you say late to the party?) I’m using it to document little things in my life, like going to the movies, for which I added the ticket stubs, going to the doctor – just added my co-pay receipt and a page about my new watch, for which I added the receipt and owners manual. I’m having so much fun with this already, and I love that it doesn’t have to be perfect (like my layouts) since it’s really for my eyes only.
Thanks for the opportunity to win, Nancy!

  25. Laura May 31, 2012 at 10:12 am #

I used one of the Amy Tangerine daybooks for a trip earlier this year and absolutely loved it. I was able to begin the project on the road, so it was a snap to finish up with prints when we got home. I really, really like the looks of the spiral-bound daybook from her newest line — very bright and fun.
