Noteworthy | 4.21.2012

Welcome to a special Saturday edition of Noteworthy! I apologize for the delay this week in getting our readers their Noteworthy “Update” but I was a bit busy traveling the past few days making soup…

…some Scrapbook Soup, that is! So watch for me with Julie McGuffee in a pair of segments of the new season of Scrapbook Soup that will begin airing on PBS stations around the country in July 2012.

It’s Christmas in April for Bella Blvd fans, because the company is having its first ever Warehouse Box Sale! They are selling warehouse clearance boxes with a value of at least $125 for a pre-order price of $37.99 through April 30th. From May 1st-May 4th, the boxes will be available for $43.99. The sale is “while supplies last”. Shipping is $6.50/box within the U.S. For details on how to place an order, visit the Bella Blvd blog.

We’re starting to see sneak peeks of patriotic lines for the Memorial Day/July 4th holidays be shown, and Authentique Paper is the next one to jump into that seasonal line with their new peek called “Glory”.

While featuring many of the classic touches that you’d expect from a vintage style patriotic line, Glory also features a few unique spins on the theme such as a music themed paper and a sheet of fleur de lis motif designs. Glory will be officially released to stores on May 1st. To see more of the collection, visit the Authentique blog.

BoBunny also sneak peeked some new mid-release collections this week. Their three new spring release lines are Camp-a-lot, Little Miss, and Hello Sunshine:

There’s a little bit of something for everyone in this batch from BoBunny – some vintage styled, some themed, and some bright fun designs as well.

Echo Park is releasing four lines with their May release that was announced this week! Two of these are full collections and two are Echo’s “mini theme” collections.

The new mini themes are Toy Box and Enjoy the Ride:

The two full Echo Park collections for May are Sweet Day and Paradise Beach:

These collections will all be shipping to stores in May!

And the new releases keep coming! Prima also has announced some new mid-releases. They are shipping a large selection of wood embellishments and cling stamps and butterflies.

Tim Holtz has a fabulously vintage new online home for his blog and other content at the newly revamped timholtz.com. The new site hosts his blog, his collection of highly educational videos, and information about his products and appearance schedule. Tim’s fans will be thrilled with the wealth of features and information!

Becky Higgins has something new for her fans too! She just unveiled 13 new Project Life products that will be shipping shortly. The new smaller page protector designs and envelope pages will offer Project Life fans a much wider variety of options for getting creative with their albums.

May Flaum had a big announcement for her fans this week – her popular Camp Scrap from 2011 is coming back for 2012!

This year it will be bigger and better, lasting from June 11th to July 27th. And fans will especially love the price: free! It’s going to be hosted on May’s blog, with Big Picture Classes providing a gallery and message board for participants.

Check out May’s blog for all the details!

Because the PBS Scrap Soup comes on at 7am on Saturdays, I record it and watch them ALL at a more reasonable time… I will look forward to seeing you this summer! CONGRATS!
