Chicagoland Scrapbooker Magazine To Launch In Fall 2012

A new magazine, Chicagoland Scrapbooker, will debut from Motor City Publishing in Fall 2012, the company has announced.

Motor City Publishing currently publishes Michigan Scrapbooker magazine. The free magazine has 40,000 readers and it’s quarterly issues cover stamping, scrapbooking and papercrafting.  Content includes a variety of editorial topics as well as a local calendar of events. Like Michigan Scrapbooker, Chicagoland Scrapbooker will be distributed through local scrapbook retail stores.

“As we celebrate our fifth year at Michigan Scrapbooker, we are thrilled to branch out and provide a locally focused print resource to the Chicagoland area,” said Carrie MacGillis, Editor and Publisher. “This publication will serve as the perfect go-to spot for the Chicago area scrapbooking community while boosting the support of brick and mortar businesses.”

WOW! It would be great for travelers to get our hot little hands on one of those before a trip to Michigan or Chicago! I know I’m ALWAYS hunting for scrapbook stores on my travels.

    Yes, I am too.
When I go to New England, I often check the FB page of Wholly Scraps in Hampton, NH to see if they have anything going on LIVE that I can join them for. I love supporting the local stores!
I don’t ever get to Michigan or Illinois, but I signed up for the Michigan Scrapbooker newsletter anyway! Thanks for the link Nancy. Hope to sign up for the newsletter for the Chicagoland once it debuts.
