CHA Winter 2012 | Trendspotting at Authentique

Authentique introduced four new lines at the CHA Winter 2012 show: Genuine, Loyal, Delightful, and Gathering. It was Genuine that most caught my eye as an example of a new trend that we saw emerge at this show – denim!

Little hints of denim are popping up here and there in this season’s releases (the denim buttons in Indigo Bleu by Pink Paislee are another great example), and with the way trends build in this industry I expect that we’ll be seeing a lot more of it at the 2012 summer show.

There were several denim-inspired projects in the Authentique booth, as well, including a cute mini album and wall hanging made with pieces of actual blue jeans.

    I love the blue & yellow combination. Will be looking for denim blue patterns in the store this spring.
