CHA Winter 2012 | Lawn Fawn

I had heard of Lawn Fawn but not seen their product before visiting their CHA Winter 2012 booth. The booth is adorable, and their products are so cute. The company produces stamps that are made in the USA, and now they have their first paper collection too.

CHA Winter 2012 | Sketchbook by Amy Tan for American Crafts

Amy Tan’s much anticipated second signature line release American Crafts was debuted this week at the CHA Winter 2012 show. Sketchbook is filled with bright and playful watercolors in a vibrant palette. The pinks and yellows are almost neon, which is making a huge comeback right now in the fashion world. It’s no surprise that Amy picked up on this trend given her background in the fashion industry!

CHA Winter 2012 | Geared Border Punches by Tonic Studio

Tonic Studios is introducing a new line of geared punches at CHA Winter 2012. Thanks to the geared mechanism, these punches are able to punch through 80lb Bazill cardstock with ease and without jamming, even on designs with lots of small detail work. The staff at Tonic were kind enough to demonstrate the punches while I recorded – there are some things that you just have to see in action!

The new punches are available in ten varieties. Some of the punches create borders while other produce “strips” with a punched design.

CHA Winter 2012 | Wendy Vecchi’s Studio 490

At CHA Winter 2012, Wendy Vecchi is releasing 14 stamp sets with Stampers Anonymous, new resin embellishments from Blossom Bucket, new Art Parts and Clearly for Art (through Stampers Anonymous) products, and a new idea book as well.

As a crafter, she makes sure to create products that are useful and can be utilized in many ways. I really like her resin embellishments, and I’m glad to hear they are doing well at the show.

CHA Winter 2012 | Petaloo

Decorative flower company Petaloo introduced several new lines of paper and fabric blooms at CHA Winter 2012 in a vast array of colors.

The Spring Darjeeling collection is an extension of the Darjeeling line of cotton paper flowers that the company introduced last fall, and the collection’s color palettes (there are many, many more colors than are shown here) are designed to coordinate with the top 20 paper lines in the industry. The Spring Darjeeling collection’s MSRP ranges from $2.99 to $4.99 US depending on the style of flower.

Petaloo also introduced Flora Doodles – a value-priced line of fabric flowers that are also available in a wide variety of colors – and the premier Penny Lane collection.

The Color Me Crazy line is designed for crafters who like to ink, mist, or paint their own flowers. These lovely fabric flowers are just one sample of the varieties in this line.

Color Me Crazy also includes a line of chipboard elements that can also be colored with a variety of art mediums. To call these items chipboard actually does them a disservice. They are actually much heavier and sturdier than most chipboards meaning that they shouldn’t warp or buckle when misted or painted.

Vintage Dazzlers are a new member of the Petaloo family. These layered, finely detailed images are based on actual vintage cards and are sized for ATCs but also useful for full-sized cards, as well.

I’ll leave you with just a few images of some of the gorgeous projects on display in the Petaloo booth.
