More Merry & Bright / Deck the Halls Kit Layouts!

I’ve been having so much fun with my Merry & Bright and Deck the Halls kit picks, and today I have two more layouts to share with you made with this selection of products!

Even though these two pages use the same product set, they each have a very different feel to them. The page below, featuring photos of festive store window displays at a local outdoor shopping center, has a calm and simple vibe to it. I added a few splatters of Studio Calico’s Calico White Mister Huey – a perfect complement to these product picks!

My second page, “Winter Treats,” gets totally artsy and layered, reflecting the decadent selection of seasonal treats that are featured in the photos. I added a layer of white paint (I still have a bottle of Making Memories paint that I absolutely love to use for messy photo “mats”) behind it all to tie everything together, and though it’s not clearly visible in the photos, there’s a layer of Studio Calico Calico Shine adding some sparkle to the pile of pennants and embellishments.

Though both of these pages have very different feels to them, they both incorporate a gray background that sets off both the bright colors and the white tones without overpowering or interfering.

As a quick reminder, here’s a list of the items I chose for both the Merry and Bright main kit at the Deck the Halls add-on kit, along with convenient links should you wish to assemble and order your own kit.
