CHA from Home: Day 1

I may be at home, but I’m not letting geographic location stop me from enjoying CHA Summer 2011. I’ve been surfing my favorite blogs, websites, and Twitter today and I’ve collected my favorite discoveries, photos, and reveals right here to share with you.

Core’dinations is smoking hot. Not only have they revealed Kraft Core cardstock, and the highly squeal-worthy polka dot embossed cardstock, but they’ve now got Pink Paislee cardstock too. Wahoo!

The Amy Tangerine line was an early favorite of mine, and from the twitter pics lighting up the internet of her and the adorable booth it’s clear that she’s a hit! (photo from www.twitter.com/AmCrafts feed) Watch for an interview with Amy in the next few days on Scrapbook Update!

This image of a dress made by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer (photo retweeted by Julie) blows my mind – and I’m hoping to see lots more images from this and hear more about what this is all about!

Echo Park had some lovely images lighting up my facebook home page today. I love all of it – but these two are my favorites from the new CHA reveals that they’ve posted. You can see it all on their blog.

Our own editor Nancy Nally was spotted picking up the hottest scoop at the Sizzix booth (photo from www.twitter.com/mariojrossi). For all the “BTS” (behind the scenes) looks at this trade show and all things Tim Holtz be sure to check out his twitter feed!

My favorite CHA-tweeter today was Jen Jockisch. She was posting great photos of people and products. It felt like walking the floor with her, and that was a lot of fun. The photo above is from her feed.

I’ve also noticed that Christine Urias is already hard at work uploading images of booth samples and product to her Flickr account. Overall it looks like day 1 must have been busy, as Facebook and Twitter feeds in the afternoon and into the evening have been surprisingly quiet! This crafter hopes to see a lot of blogging, tweeting, and updates in the upcoming days.

If you’re wanting to get a better view of product being released and peeks of the new lines then hop over to Scrapbook Update’s Summer 2011 CHA sneak peeks page. It’s my #1 go-to resource for all things CHA and new releases!

Don’t forget to visit Scrapbook Update’s Facebook page and editor Nancy Nally’s Twitter feed during the show for all of Scrapbook Update’s CHA reporting, as well as our coverage here on the main site.

I wish I could attend CHA, but I’ll take what I can get at CKC next week. Thanks for the sneak peaks and links. And I agree 100% on Echo Park. All their papers are so bright and happy!
