I put my 2 cents in!
Heading over to take the survey too. Thanks Nancy!
I put my two cents in (I’m sure they’ll give change though
Thanks for sharing Nancy!!
I took the survey… did not take long.
I also did the survey. I find it curious that the survey generators assumed we all would want audio capabilities on our scrapbook pages. Hmmmm. There is something to be said for the technology-free page-turning experience. And would the “technology” stand the test of time? Anyone remember the 5 1/4″ floppy disk?
If I want all that in a scrapbook, I can just design one on my computer and I don’t have to buy anything special.
I’m with Susan B. on this one. I think anything they design along these lines will quickly be out-dated as is every other technological gadget that comes along. I think just a basic, small memory chip which could maybe hold an ancestor’s voice telling a short anecdote could be somewhat useful.
I took this as well. Although, I mentioned to them that this product already exists called “Sound Stripes”. It is a pretty old product…I’m not sure if it’s even made anymore. I have it & it still works. It has my children’s voices saved on little digital strips that the handheld reader will “read” when you place it on top. I thought it was pretty cool. Don’t think it was very successful though.
I also gave my 2 cents and took the survey.

Interesting. One thing that stuck out was asking how often we’ve read Memory Makers recently

Quick survey! Very interesting…amazing how technology is all around us! Thanks for the link
Took the survey and have mixed feelings about the idea behind it. I do believe the recorded voice is an amazing gift to future generations.
