Time to turn out the lights…the party’s over….(well, on the east coast anyway for those of us whose kids will get us up at 8am even on a weekend).
I hope everyone has been having a great National Scrapbook Day and got lots of scrapbooking done that they are happy about. We’ve got one last prize to give away here today, and since we figure by now everyone has seriously depleted their stashes scrapbooking all day – it’s a big one from Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker!
This pack has 22 cardstock sheets of patterned paper from a variety of collections, 10 die cut sheets, Cool Cord Brads, Burlap Buttons, and Breadless Tabs. It will keep the lucky winner scrapping for quite awhile!
How to Enter:
All you have to do to be one of the lucky winners is leave a comment on this entry before Midnight U.S. eastern time on Sunday night, May 2nd, and we want to hear you brag about what scrapbook projects you got done today! Feel free to post gallery links if you’d like, even! Make sure you include your email address in the line reserved for it on the comment form (for your own protection, don’t put it in the text of the comment, where it will be visible to the public – just in the line labeled “email” in the form where only Scrapbook Update staff can see it). Woke up with a headache unusually rare for me so spent alot of time trying to sleep it off. Did make a birthday card and 2 page layout. Enjoyed NSD by checking out your site and a few others.
Well, lol, I didn’t work on anything Saturday, but I had a class Fri. night and made a 2 -page layout and a bigger class on Thurs. and made 6 2-page layouts!!! So excited! So I guess I celebrated early!
I browsed online for all the scrapbook news. Finished a page I been doing on my Dad using A Proper Gentleman line from Graphic 45.
Worked on a 2 page remembrance of my grandson’s dog, they only had her for 2 months but loved her as though she was with them for a lifetime.
I’m such a loser as I did not get any pages done today. It was just too busy with the kids, but I was able to get 12 pages done last weekend while the kids were out of town. I did get a chance to make some cool online purchases on NSD – does that count?
I completed 1 LO, and got 2 others to different stages of near completion. It was not only nsd but also the 1st day of LOAD so I’m only “allowed” to do 1 layout a day.
And I entered a ton of giveaways!
I got figured out how to do some stuff on PSE and finished picking pictures I’ll be useing for my week in the life project. I had a crop Friday and did a couple layouts there.
I had some alone time- quite a commodity with 3 kids- and was actually able to scrap some layouts.
oops!! Didn’t work on any layout today… generally I close my studio on weekends!!
I only got one layout done, but it’s a really good one!
I did manage to finish up a few mother’s day gifts for my daughter & son’s teachers. Still have LOTS to do.
I got one layout done, but I played lots of games and entered lots of contests…it was a fun day!
we actually celebrated NSD last weekend with a crop. i finished about 48 pages of an 8X8 album and Debby Schuh project celebrating last year’s Creative Escape. FUN!!!
I spent 14 hours – except for a run the kids break – at a local crop that benefited the Relay for Life, an American Cancer Society fundraisers. It was a good cause, a good day with new and old friends and a chance to work on my son’s graduation albums. I got 11 pages done and some yummy pizza and brownies devoured. What more could one ask? Happy NSD to me!
Working on a football album for my cousin! He graduates college in 2 weeks, so I have lots to do…but it is lots of FUN!
Happy NSD and weekend everyone.
teri
Completed 3 pages for the graduation album I’ve been working on……also practiced making ribbon flowers from a NSD tutorial!!! Entered several contests….fun day!!
Nothing really to brag about, I did get a page almost finished. Hoping to finish it up today. Actually, at least it is one page down
I worked on my husband’s father’s day gift. It is a small mini book of our daughter. He can take to work with him and show it to all of his co-workers. :0)
I almost completed an “about me” layout for a challenge.
I didn’t get any scrapbooking completed
But I did something better . . . I went to a surprise birthday party and IT WAS MINE! I got lots of $$ and my son took lots of pictures so I now have something to work on!
I downloaded quite a few things. Does that count?? Next weekend I’m heading to a late NSD retreat and I can’t wait, so I have been preparing for that.
First I had to clean up my scrap space…otherwise I wouldn’t have had a spot to scrap in! Then I finished up some work…put 20 kits together, sorted and organized products for a crop we are having next weekend and and put away all pieces of kits that I had finished with…brads, buttons, papers etc.
Then it was on to the fun stuff…scrapping for me! I laid out all the photos for my Week in the Life pages and printed off the journaling. Did two pages for my older sons’ School of Life album. Surfed a bit and ordered some new products! After supper and bedtime for the boys, I lounged and read the new CK issue.
A wonderfully indulgent and porductive day!
Thanks for the chance to win the Niki Sivils goodies Nancy!
I had a fun weekend. Sat. I completed 4 pages and entered some online contests, etc. And Sun. I did 4 more pages and a card. I went to a Close To My Heart crop and had some fun. I even won a stamp set as a door prize. So all around a great scrapping weekend.
Went to a Fri night/all day Saturday crop with about 40 scrappers…. what a FABULOUS time ! Only did one layout and 4 cards, plus did a little paper piecing for the future. I think we spent more time laughing and eating than scrapping, but what fun !!!!!
I’m so bummed! I had to work all day, but I wore my NSD shirt to work, so I talked about it a lot! When I got home I sat at the computer and peeked in on what everyone else had been doing all day.
got a mini book done about my girls (sister of mine – I called it). It had pics of my girls from when the youngest was born to now
I did a layout and a tag
I altered a clock and three clipboards with scrappy supplies. I had a lot of fun looking at the games and postings on NSD around the web.
i finished 4 challenges out of 12. thanks for the chance.
I didn’t get any scrapbooking done. I spent all day playing with my kids (5!).
I finished the a mini book I began in the Fall of 2009 about my 21 Day Challenge with Rhonna Farrer. I completed the challenge and thanks to her began my journey to wellness by starting a walking regimen which culminated in a 5k race in December – just three months later! Thanks for the wonderful giveaways!
I went to Archiver’s first thing and it was strange – I was the only customer there for the first 45 minutes of the day… took a photo of the five employees and me in the empty store!!
I got a total of 8 layouts, 2 cards, 2 tags and 1 mini album page done for this years National Scrapbook Day! I am so pleased with how much I got done in the day with all the other stuff that I had going on as well.
8 pages!!! and still took care of the family. shew. had a great time though!
Had an awesome weekend with girlfriends scrapbooking at our spring retreat where we were treated like queens at Cottages at Sunset Shores. I didn’t necessarily get lots done but I organized and was inspired by all the work that was done in our group.
I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked but I did 2 12×12 LOs and I have nearly finished my first 8×8
yay. Thanks sooooo much for these. It was nice to think about scrappy related things for a while longer
Good luck to all the winners. There will be many happy people very soon! Your prizes are awesome Nacy and thanks to you and May for all of this
Oops and by Nacy I actually meant Nancy. SORRY!!! P.S loving you on ‘The Table’
