Since everyone seems to have suddenly kicked into CHA preparation mode…let’s do a CHA-related giveaway!
A while back I discovered at my local Staples a great trade show accessory that I can’t live without now. It’s not the most fashionable thing perhaps, but it makes my life so much easier at events like CHA. It’s a nylon pouch for holding badges and credentials:
Before I found this I was stuck with whatever they handed over the desk at conventions – badges that fell apart, wouldn’t stay facing forward, hung at weird levels, and were often on uncomfortable strings around my neck. Now, my credentials are secure inside one of these nylon holders and I can adjust its comfortable strap to hang at any level.
And as you can see in the picture, on the back side there is a bonus – two small pockets. One is a slip-in pocket, which I use for holding a stash of business cards for quick retrieval. The other pocket has a zipper and is perfect for putting some cash and a hotel key card in so I don’t keep having to dig in my bag to buy a Coke or get into my room. (Since ladies’ wear doesn’t always have pockets).
Yes, I love my badge holder. It is amazing how small comforts like this can make the grueling marathon of a trade show week a tiny bit more comfortable.
So I’m going to pass some of that comfort along to three Scrapbook Update readers! I have three badge holders to give away!
Since everyone is so busy getting ready for CHA, entering is easy:
All you have to do to be one of the lucky winners is leave a comment on this entry before Midnight U.S. eastern time next Friday night, January 8th. (If you are reading this post via an email or RSS subscription, click on the title of the entry and it will take you to the giveaway on the Scrapbook Update website where you can fill out the comment form to enter.) Make sure you include your email address in the line reserved for it on the comment form (for your own protection, don’t put it in the body of the comment, where it will be visible to the public – just in the line labeled “email” in the form where only I can see it). You will need it to verify your identity if you are a winner. One entry per person.
I’ll either mail the badge holders or deliver them in person at the show – winners’ choice!
