I also bought mine on HSN prior to the Today's Special (about 11:30 pm EST) when they first mentioned the upcoming special. I opted for the regular free shipping and, according to UPS, mine should be delivered tomorrow! Can hardly believe that it only took five days including two weekend days to get here! Really excited about the capabilities it seems to have, and will keep me busy on my upcoming plane trip to visit the grandkids for a few days! Grandma has to have her own toys, you know!!!

I am one of the lucky ones who was able to purchase the Gypsy on HSN. I didn't wait and ordered it as soon as it aired. I feel the package they offered was as good as it will get for the Gypsy for at least the next year or so. The Expression can now be found on occasion for $279.99 (Hobby Lobby) but it's taken awhile for that kind of price to be available so I personally don't look to see the Gypsy available at less that MSRP for awhile.

The HSN value includes the car charger, carrying case, and the Don Juan cartridge, which makes it a better value than Michael's will have on Oct. 4 for the same price and for those interested, the flex pay option was a great way to buy without having to put out the full purchase price at one time.

The HSN deal also included free shipping and handling so for the price of the first payment plus tax, you could have the Gypsy in 7-10 days. I paid $8.00 additional for faster shipping and will have mine by Sept. 30! I can't wait!

As far as the overall price, it does seem a bit high but when you include the two cartridges that are already downloaded on the Gypsy and will never (so they say) be available for sale as separate items, the value doesn't seem that bad. For those who participate in the Cricut Rewards program, you will get additional points with this purchase. For me, this means I can add this to the points I already have and pick up the Accent Essential cartridge that I don't have...for FREE! That now gives me one additional cartridge for the HSN price and makes this an even greater value.

How many people have paid $300 for a video game set for their kids and it doesn't do more than occupy their time. With this gadget, you can create and do it whever you are. I love that about the Gypsy. I'm a Design Studio software user at home so I know I'll love being able to create cut files while away from home or just sitting in the passenger seat of the car!

Another item of interest learned from the HSN shows was that the Gypsy will have additional features offered in the future. Who knew when the original Cricut came out that we would eventually be able to connect it to our computer and use the Design Studio software to weld letters and create all kinds of cut files by mixing our cartridges together? We can do this and more on the Gypsy and it'll be interesting to see what Provo Craft has coming in the future for this little gadget!

Thanks for the updates and please keep them coming!
