CHA is promoting an in-store event weekend for its retailers in conjunction with its Craft Supershow that will be taking place in Orlando from July 31st-August 1st.
“Craft Till You Drop” weekend will also take place the weekend of July 31st-August 2nd. The event will be publicized nationally by the Craft & Hobby Association, which is providing a turnkey package of promotional materials for the event to its retailer members. Several manufacturers, including scrapbook company Glitz Design, have donated make-n-take sheets for use in the promotion.
Reader Survey: I’m curious to hear from my retailer readers about their thoughts on a couple of things related to this planned CHA promotion. Do you think this is an attempt by CHA to pay some attention to retailers outside of Florida who may have felt neglected by their Supershow promotion? And, if you are planning to attend the trade show in Orlando, is it going to be difficult for you to pull off an in-store event that same weekend?
