CHA Supershow Billboards Up In Orlando Area

CHA is apparently not relying on traditional craft advertising channels to spread the word about the upcoming Craft Supershow in Orlando. Kizer and Bender have a photo up on their (fabulous) blog showing a picture of a billboard on I-4 in Florida advertising the CHA Supershow coming up next month. For those not familiar with Florida’s roadways, I-4 is the main NE-SE artery that bisects the middle of the peninsula from Daytona Beach to Tampa, passing through the heart of Orlando on its way across the state. The convention center sits at the intersection of I-4 and the Beachline Expressway in Orlando.

Georganne Bender shared with me what she learned from CHA about the billboards. She says the billboards started running on June 8th for 8 weeks and that there are 3 of them – 2 on I-4, and 1 on the 408.

In addition to the billboards, Bender says that CHA is going to be running 20 outdoor posters in Central Florida that are 10×30, starting on July 6th. Then, starting on July 20th, there will also be countdown ads running on Outdoor Digital boards in the area.

Also, in case you missed the earlier post about it – if you are a retailer attending CHA next month, Kizer and Bender are on the slate of experts offering free consultations at the show. See the full article for all the details!
