Lisa Bearnson Taking Leave of Absence from QVC

It sounds like Lisa Bearnson’s appearance today on QVC is her last for the forseeable future. The following statement has been posted accompanying her profile on the QVC site:

Over the past 11 years, Lisa Bearnson has been a faithful guest and scrapbooking cheerleader here at QVC. As the founder of Creating Keepsakes magazine, she’s introduced millions of people to the world of scrapbooking. Staying true to her own philosophy that family comes first, she recently made the decision to take a leave of absence from QVC, allowing more time with her family. We wish her the best of luck!

This will be a huge loss for both QVC and the scrapbook industry as Bearnson’s appearances really move products.

No back story on this? Is it really that she wants to spend more time with her family? I often wondered how she did so much!
