Scrapbooks Etc. editor Melissa Inman announced yesterday that she is leaving the magazine for a position as editorial lead at Parents.com. Both publications are properties of Meredith Corp.
Inman has been with Scrapbooks Etc. more than 7 years, and presided over its rise to the top of the scrapbook magazine heap. Scrapbooks Etc's circulation was, about 40% higher than it's nearest competitor, Creating Keepsakes, in 2008. The magazine has also maintained it's advertising content better than any of its competitors in the face of the economic crisis facing the publishing industry.
No announcement has been made yet regarding who will be replacing Inman as Scrapbooks Etc. editor.
