Totally out of the loop but does this effect all the stuff CK does on QVC? Just curious.

I actually got a payment for the work I did in December and early January day before yesterday. There is still a large-ish outstanding sum, but I'm encouraged by having received the outstanding amount over 60 days old. Just want to set the record straight.
Should probably blog that, hm?

Going through a "similar" situation with the company DH works for (well worked) from what we have been told you can't file for bankruptcy from wages. (meaning we get to hunt down a bankruptcy court to file 2 1/2 weeks of pay sheets)
I find it amazing they are getting away without paying the people that help make them the $$$ I just don't understand that business practice. The employees (or contributors) are who you are making your profit from, they should be paid first! Can they really have a magazine (or convention) without them? I know their reasoning is pay the ones screaming the loudest first, but in the case of CK where would they be without the talent?
Sadly we see this happening more and more.

Given CK's current financial problems would you buy a ticket to any of CK's upcoming classes or conventions?
