I really hate shopping at Michael’s nearbya nd was glad this store had opened…it’s a shame it had to close so soon…

The closing had nothing to do with the economy. The Daytona Beach location was one of ACM’s most profitable in the state. They were bought by a new company in January who, evidently, is notorious for buying corporations and then liquidating many of the stores soon after, thus making a profit quickly. The current Joann’s is not re-locating, a new store will open in the old ACM building. Although I’m sure it won’t hold a candle to ACM!

I moved here from PA 12 years ago and couldn’t wait for an A C Moore. I was so happy when they moved to Viera and went every week. I can’t believe they are now closing. I wonder what their reasoning is?

I love my AC Moore! There is a store listed on their site as “coming soon” and we have two others fairly close. Better call and see if I can get some cheap goodies (of course CKC is also this weekend here too)
