One of my favorite scrapbook magazines, Simple Scrapbooks, wants to keep you busy on National Scrapbook Day this Saturday, May 3rd! They have a whole day of activities planned to celebrate scrapbooking and scrapbookers.
The magazine’s website will be hosting a scavenger hunt, sponsored by 10 popular companies: American Crafts, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, EK Success, Fancy Pants Designs, QuicKutz, Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L, Scrapworks, Tinkering Ink, and Big Picture Scrapbooking. Participants will have to go to each of those companies’ websites to find clues to help them enter a giveaway of a prize package from the sponsor manufacturers. If you are a fan of the magazine’s Simple Studio blog, you can visit it every day this week to take part in challenges hosted by Cathy Zielske. The challenge winners will be announced as part of the NSD festivities on Saturday.
Stacy Julian may have recently stepped down from her editorial role at Simple Scrapbooking, but she will be dropping by the Simple website to say “hi” to all her scrapbooking community friends on NSD.
